Two-time Olympic gold medallist and Canadian skating hero Catriona LeMay Doan and
World Champion all-round speed skating Shani Davis from the USA give the thumbs
up to the skating races in Portland.


"If this promotes skating for kids, of course I am supporting it," said Shani Davis earlier this year during the Summer Classic in Calgary.

"Why not come out and try my favourite sport. Feel how fast you can go," said Catriona LeMay Doan, signing several Portland Outdoors postcards for the occasion.

The postcards and pictures will be on display in the Portland Community Centre Jan 28 and 29 2006. Come and see it for yourself.
