The Portland FC U13 soccer boys defeated the Cataraqui Clippers 5-1 in front of a hometown crowd of approximately 50 on Thursday.

The win meant that the team of Craig Lapierre remained unbeaten this season, but that news was eclipsed by the stellar performance of one PFC player as Luke Kenney scored all five goals for the PFC boys.

The U13 boys have now won two games and tied one.

The PFC U11 boys tied Belleville on Thursday. Braiden Wing scored his third goal of the season and has now recorded a marker in each of the U11 boys games. Troy Merriman had the second goal for Portland. The boys of coach Shawn Merriman have now collected a win, tie and loss.

The U14 and U11 PFC girls recorded narrow losses, and return to action this week.
