The U18 boys of the Portland Football Club had a delayed start of the season, and began their year with a loss, but since then, the boys of head coach Ryan Gardiner have been impressive. On June 21, the U18 boys beat Belleville 4-2 and on June 24 they were the better of St. Lawrence United with a score of 5-2.

Jordan Duncan has scored four of the U18 goals so far. Nathan Teixeira and Thomas Mercer scored twice each while Aaron Machan and Ryan Patterson have one apiece.
The undefeated U13 PFC boys will return to action in their home game against Frontenac this Thursday, July 2. At 6:30 p.m. the boys can be seen at Kin Park on Harlem Road across the road from the Legion.

The PFC U11 boys encountered only their second loss of the season on Monday, June 21. The team of head coach Shawn Merriman fell 3-2 against Rockland. Braiden Wing scored both goals for PFC. The U11 boys now have two wins, two losses and a tie in their five games.

Jennifer Crosby has been on a scoring spree for the U14 girls. Despite losing their last two games, Crosby recorded three goals for the U14 girls. Kathleen Archambault scored for the U11 girls in their game last week.
